For reasons beyond me, there are some people who think that the Twilight series are well written books. I don't think that there's anything wrong with enjoying badly written books, just as long as you realise that they are badly written books. Fans are using the excuse that it was her first book, and it was written just for fun or for herself. Yes, most books are, but is that an excuse to publish a book written entirely in purple prose with repetition, poor grammar, and thesaurus abuse? These books have clearly had little to no editing.
